The Forest Floor - Textile Surfaces

The forest floor serves as a bridge between the above-ground living vegetation and the soil and thus is a crucial component in nutrient transfer through the biogeochemical cycle. We explore ways to disassemble the fallen leaves, branches and duff of the industry i.e. the used garments or textile materials and reintegrate the components into new products, mimicking the natural cycle of decay and regeneration
